Trivia[]
- Ya Chun Fei, Ray Steeringson and Roy Bench are the last surviving racers of the season and after Bench's pitty Frank Window died age 100 in 2020 the last surviving pitties are Carl Friedrichs, Jim Cascan, and Robert Bruisfield. Sadly no crew chiefs from the season are still alive. The last one was Dennis Scheck who died on March 9, 2023.
