Alyssa Jane Ashton (born April 1, 2011) is a Canadian singer-songwriter.
Early life [ ] Ashton was born in Toronto, Ontario to Mike Ashton and Leslie Carter . Her father is of Danish , English , German , Irish, Norwegian , Scottish and Welsh descent and Her mother is of Ashkenazi Jewish , Blackfoot First Nations , Cornish , Dutch , English , French-Canadian , German , Irish , Luxembourgian , Northern Irish (Scotch-Irish ), Scottish , Swedish , Swiss and Welsh descent. Throughout her school years, she began writing poetry which eventually leads to songwriting.
Career [ ] Ashton signed to Atlantic Records at age 11 and released her debut album, Alyssa Ashton in 2022.
