Adventure Capitalist

The Flux Capitalor in AdVenture Capitalist

• A major item in the game is called the "Flux Capitalor," and it increases profit speed by 1.21.
• There is a time travel event in the game, and there is a car that looks a lot like the DeLorean.
• There is an achievement called "3CZV657" which is the DeLorean's real registration plate as opposed to "OUTATIME"

The Battle Cats

• In the iOS version of the game, the saga "Into the Future" has a treasure called Time Machine. It looks very similar to the DeLorean.

Bully

• The clock tower of Bullworth Academy is stopped at 10:04, similar to the clock tower on the Hill Valley Courthouse after lightning struck it in 1955.
• While riding his skateboard, Jimmy can hold on to the rear of vehicles and hitch a ride, much like Marty does at the beginning of the first film.

Burnout Paradise

• In the DLC Legendary Cars Pack, one of the cars - the Jansen P12 88 special - is an obvious parody of the DeLorean. Its look similar, and when a player activates nitro, the tires will leaves behind flame trails. The car is also able to hover.

Carmageddon

• When after getting all money depleted and seeing the "game over" cutscene where the Red Eagle goes very fast out-of-control and explodes into bits, leaving only the car's skeleton and its license plate saying "OUTTALIFE", which falls off and spins around on one corner. Even the flames for when the car goes off reminds people about 88 mph!
  • The expansion, and later game, Carmageddon: Splat Pack and Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now, both have a vehicle based on the DeLorean. Splat Pack has the DeGory'Un, and Carmageddon II has its second version, called the DeGory'Un 2, driven by Russ T, who is reminiscent of Marty McFly.

Civilization V

• An achievement is called "Baktun the Future"

Club Penguin

• In PSA mission 10, when the Gift Shop manager asks what the giant magnet is for, you have the option to say "It's for a weather experiment...", to which he will reply "You got a permit for that?". Your character assures him "Of course we do...". This is an exchange previously seen in Back to the Future between Doc and a policeman.
• In the Disney owned online game an inventor called Gary, who invented a time machine similar to the DeLorean time machine. Moreover, Gary mostly uses the dialogue Great Scott, similar to Doc.

Colin McRae Rally

• The game has a cheat mode (enter your name as 'HOVERCRAFT' (PS1) or 'DELOREAN' (PC)) which enables your rally car to fly. At the beginning of the stage, it takes off in precisely the same manner as at the end of Back to the Future.

Conflict: Freespace

• Similarly, in a cut scene, a prototype energy shield is being tested in a laboratory, and one scientist notes that the power delivered to it is 1.21 gigawatts. He states the digits separately ("one-point-two-one"), so it isn't immediately identifiable with the phrase spoken in the films.

Dakota Season Three

• A character says he must go "back to the future".

Dragon Story

The preview text for the Holographic Dragon is " "30 years ago, we imagined a future with hoverboards, flying cars, and auto-adjusting jackets."

Driver: San Francisco

• There's an easter egg mission in the game called "Blast From The Past" that can be unlocked by driving the DeLorean DMC-12 up to 88 MPH.

Forza Horizon 4

• In one of the Top Gear story chapters, Chris Harris says " It'll do 155mph on the road. But we're going, we won't need roads. " 

Forza Motorsport 4

There is an achievement that can be unlocked called "Outta Time", and you get it by accelerating a DeLorean DMC-12 to 88 MPH.

Fallout 2

• One of the slaves was reported to be yelling "Run for it Marty!" during a slaver mission. [1]

Fantasy Forest Story

• The Deluxe Sleigh can "deliver happiness at 88 smiles per second."

• The goal for the Fennec Shox is to "stop it before it reaches 88 miles per hour!"

Final Fantasy XV

• When unlocking and using the Regalia Type-F's flight mode for the first time, Noctis says: "Where we're going, we don't need roads." This is a reference to Doc's quote when the DeLorean is first shown flying at the end of the first film.

Game Dev Tycoon

• In the beginning office, it says "You have been traveled back in time", and has a Delorean DMC-12 covered in blue cloth.

The God of War Collection

• There's a trophy called "1.21 Gigawatts" when Kratos obtains the Poseidon's Rage power.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

• In game, some missions are to able to skip long car rides during them, and the icon that represents this 'time travel' is a Deluxo automobile (GTA's universe counterpart of the DeLorean DMC-12), which it fold the wheels into the hover conversion and takes off into the sky in precisely the same manner as the flying DeLorean.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

• Set in 1986, features many references to 80's pop-culture, including some to Back to the Future in the form of pedestrian dialogue. Some examples are, "I'll erase you from existence!" and, ""No! My time machine!!!""
• A mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories involves controlling a robot. The robot will sometimes display the text, "Flux Capacitor at 110%". Curiously, this game takes place in 1984
• There is even a mod of BTTF,  called Back to the Future: Hill Valley, and it includes all the DeLorean time machines and the Jules Verne Time Train. You start out in a regular DeLorean, and can go to Sunshine Autos to construct one of the time machines.

Guitar Hero World Tour

• There is an achievement called "1.21 Jigowatts?!?!", the same value required by the flux capacitor in order to work.

HQ Trivia

• In this popular money-making game, an "80's Trivia Night" took place. It includes many references to Back to the Future:
  • Scott's famous "the city that never sleeps" saying gives "Hill Valley, California" as the location.
  • As Scott spurts out a bunch of references with trivia-relate puns, he says "Smarty McFly."
• There have been multiple questions that include Back to the Future somehow, like having "DeLorean" or "Flux Capacitor" as a possible answer.
• A Back to the Future-themed question was featured on the show. The question stated, "What was the setting for most of the action in the last 'Back to the Future' film?", with the answers being "1950s", "Old West", and "21st century." This question seemed to hurt a lot of people, since it was stated as "the last 'Back to the Future' film," rather than "Back to the Future: Part III"; this question could have been read as just "Back to the Future," since the players only had a few seconds to answer.

Minecraft

• In Minecraft 1.8, there is a chance that "Tougher than diamonds, rich like cream" splash text will appear.

MegaMan Legends

• At the beginning of the game after MegaMan defeats the boss, it activates again and corners him to the edge of the roof. MegaMan then jumps off of the roof, only to come back up on the Flutter similar to Marty's return in Back to the Future Part II after jumps off of the roof of Biff's hotel.

Midnight Club: Street Racing

• Keiko Hatano looks at the DeLorean Time Machine from the Back to the Future franchise, it has the regular plutonium chamber and the bumper sticker in the back that read: "1.21 Midnight Club Gigawatts", opened the gull-wing door, get inside and close the gull-wing door. He turn on the engine, turn on the time circuits, typing the buttons on the keypad of the time machine's destination keypad, the letters that reads "Paris 1985" on the display, pull down the gear shift on the Manual transmission, floors the gas pedal and takes off in the streets of Central Park. As the time vehicle going up at 88 miles-per-hour, the coils would glow in a fluorescent blue, Internal diodes would flash faster as well as the flux capacitor, A bright blue field of energy would form and the lightning spark at the front of the vehicle. As the DeLorean enters into another time period, it seemed to explode in a large cloud of particles and the camera zooms out, leaving behind two trails of fire where the vehicle's tires will pass arriving the destination time and the California OUTATIME registration plate, spun around and landed on the roadway. When Keiko Hatano arrives at his destination, the car is covered in ice, just as it was after making its first time travel trip in the first movie.
• Darren Thurrock breaks apart the bottom of the vegetable's vendor wooden cart, and uses it as a skateboard much as Marty did in the first film. Parodying the skateboard chase from the first film, which uses Alan Silvestri's score, when the Police Officers' car catches up to Darren's scooter, placing him in imminent jeopardy, Darren Thurrock lets the skateboard travel under the car while he runs over the top of the Police Officers' heads to retrieve the skateboard at the back end and lands on his board, causing the Police Officers of the Midnight Club Police Department turn around to watch and then the cop car crashes into the back of a truck filled with manure, which as a result of the impact dislodges and covers them.
• Biff's Convertible appears in the parking lot in London.
• When the Police officers of Midnight Club Police Department tries to save his ancestors from being hit by a car, just as Marty McFly does in the film.
• The Phoenix DDX has a flight mode for the first time, the wheels fold into the retractable wheels. it takes off in precisely the same manner as the upgraded DeLorean in the second film.
  • Doc Brown appears in the Central Park Tournament Race Hall by wearing his Back to the Future Part II outfit.
• After Kareem Windross holding a rocket jetpack and defeats the boss, it slams the enemy again and corners him to the edge of the roof. Kareem Windross then jumps off of the roof, only to come back up on the Zender Typer-S with Emily Morton similar to Marty's return in Back to the Future Part II after jumps off of the roof of Biff's hotel.
• The London bookstore has the Grays Sports Almanac (as seen in Back to the Future Part II).
• Larry Muller just sent back in time to the Old West and uses the alias for racing at the starting line. Emilo Sanchez gives him a look of their little secret, he asks that if Marty could be Clint Eastwood in Back to the Future Part III, why could he get the alias. Emilo Sanchez remembers the film, and mentions that she was so powerful.
• The Zemeckis Cube is named after Back to the Future director Robert Zemeckis.
• Marty's Hoverboard appears in the Paris Garage with the Audio-Adjusted Jacket hanging on the coat rack in the wall.

Midnight Club II

• Hector gets into the 1971 Bestia and got inside, which it turns into the DeLorean Time Machine from the Back to the Future film series. It has the Mr. Fusion and the California OUTATIME registration plate. The DeLorean takes off, it going up at the top speed of 88mph, the animated flash of blue light is glowing in the wormhole emitter, and creates a burst of lightning sparks in front of the car as zooms forward at high speed. It disappears in a flash and the cartoon explosion just as the car enters another time period, leaving fire trails behind and the license plate, spun around and falls down on the roadway. When Hector arrives at his destination, the car is covered in ice, just as it was after making its first time travel trip in the first movie.
• Savo holding the flux capacitor, indicating that it is the main source of time travel in Doc Brown's time machine.
• The book store has A Match Made in Space by George McFly.
• Dice saw the racers and says that might be some ancestors in Hollywood, especially that "means a lot of total whack with the police and even the so-called actions of Back to the Future."
• A Subway train just destroyed the 1955 police cars is similar to the destruction of the DeLorean time machine at the end of Back to the Future Part III.
• When Mauro pushes Steven out of the way and gets hit by Julie & Jewel's car, Mauro falls down on the road and feeling unconscious is the same way Marty McFly gets hit by Sam Baines' car after he pushes George McFly out of the way in Back to the Future. 
• Primo riding the 1999 Nissan Skyline MkX 'Torque JX' has the slushy-powered, apparently sentient in the rear view of the vehicle and taking the flight mode. The car backs up, the wheels that fold into the hover conversion, and it flies away, swings back, goes right toward the sky and goes into a time portal.
• Gina uses the Grays Sports Almanac from Back to the Future Part II for the race in the starting line.
• Marty McFly's Hoverboard can be seen at the Santa Monica Place Mall.
• Moses uses the time-traveling DeLorean for the Los Angeles and South Central race finale. The DeLorean lifted off the ground and its wheels folded providing thrust. The rear louver then propelled it forward down the street, and Moses turned the car around to get the speed at 88mph needed to make the temporal displacement.

Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition

• The Hummer H1, with Lamont's time machine attached, functions similarly to the DeLorean time machine from the Back to the Future film series. As with the DeLorean, the SUV needs an object from the same era the driver intends to travel to. The SUV vehicle going fast at enough high speed in order to time travel, creates a burst of glowing blue light flashes in the front of the time vehicle. when Lamont makes the jump to 1985, The Hummer H1 disappears in a flash, leaving a pair of fiery tire tracks behind and the license plate spinning, just like the DeLorean does during its first time travel.
• The Volkswagen Golf GTI has the detail of the black paint job of the Biff's convertible as seen in Back to the Future.
• When Vanessa has the situation with the Other Racers, The "pro-grade" aluminium packing-case with radioactive symbols on here, (as seen in the beginning of Back to the Future) appears in the souvenir table.
• At the end of the second level, When the police cars zoom off, Oscar hanging on a clock tower, struggles to holding the electrical cables and hooked up properly, much as Dr. Emmett Brown did in the first film. Oscar slides down using a rope, pulls the cable out of the tree branch and connect the cables. Lightning strikes the clock, send the Tokyo Police Department Police cars back to the future and leaves a trail of yellow smoke.
• Apone saw the racers and says that might be some ancestors from chasing by the rocket car, especially "has a lot of flack around here with the police and even the so-called actions of Back to the Future."

• Marty McFly's Hoverboard appear at the San Diego mall.
• Player win the race, carrying the 1st place trophy and parked the 1969 Chevrolet Impala in the parking space in Tokyo. Carlos lost the race, holding the 3rd place bronze trophy, and get into the Hummer H2. The car lifted off the ground and flies up into the air, the wheels fold into hover-converted wheels, flies off into the sky and goes into a time portal leaves a trail of green smoke.

Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix

• Apone drives the Chevrolet Monte Carlo, it has the special ability for the vehicle called, Temporal Displacement, as the one in Back to the Future. It speeds off on the road, the fastest top speed at 88mph, creates a burst of glowing blue light flashes in the front of the vehicle. The Chevrolet Monte Carlo enters into another time period, it disappears and leaves two trails of fire behind. the fire trails which meant to mimic the DeLorean; however, the pair of fire trails only appears when the DeLorean disappears into a new time period.
• Phil riding the Kawasaki Ninja, It going so fast on the road and breaks the sound barrier, the orange rocket blasts away and everything the bomb for the San Diego gas station beeps and explodes in the freeze-frame is similar to the temporal displacement for the DeLorean time machine.
• Carlos has a salutation with all of their racers, he replies to the San Diego Police Department, "This is so powerful? we're gonna add the component for my car is the flux capacitor."
• Oscar using a Back to the Future-inspired remote control on the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS SS to test at high speed, much as Doc Brown did in the film.
• There is a Flux Capacitor in the wall of the San Diego.
• Bishop is said to "believe that Marty McFly travels back in time to 1955 after escaping the Libyan Terrorists".
• Lamont and Naomi opened the door to the Hummer H3T and got inside, Lamont says: "It need require something with a little more kick, Plutonium." Naomi says: "Plutonium? wait a minute, are you..." The Hummer H3T drove away and disappeared, leaving behind two trails of fire and the license plate spins around and falling down to the ground.
• Apone has a walkie-talkie to solve them for the racing mystery, just as Marty McFly did in Back to the Future Part II, where he contacts Doc Brown that Biff Tannen stole the Sports Almanac in 1955. 
• Cheng says that time travel have the number 88 as an important plot point and using the DeLorean for its time travel users in San Diego
• Vanessa receives a letter from the Unbeatable Street Racers, which had specific instructions for the date and time of delivery, much like the ending of Back to the Future Part II. 

• Paul loses the race in 6th place, open the door to the Chevrolet El Camino and got inside. Paul says: "I'm coming to the distant future with flying cars and jetpacks!" The Chevrolet El Camino lifted off the ground and its wheels fold into the hover conversion providing thrust. the car flies away, turns around, and goes right toward the camera and entered the time portal into the future.

• Angel desides that Cheng uses the alias "Clint Eastwood" as a reference to both the actor and Marty's choice.

• Miguel draws a sketch on a blackboard that parallel's Doc drawing the timeline with 1985A skewing downward.
• The 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air was driven by Jin, features the Midnight Club shaped rockets on the rear view and taking the flight mode was made by the DeLorean time machine. The vehicle lifted off the ground and its wheels fold into the hover conversion providing thrust. the car flies away, swings back, goes right toward the camera across the streets of Los Angeles and entered the temporal displacement to South Central.
• Pete driving Griff Tannen's heavily modified hover-converted version of the BMW 633CSi, which was a convertible orange and black model is waxed and shiny (two coats, naturally), which flies into the air in the Hollywood Race.
• Julian drives the DeLorean Time Machine, though which it can hover above the ground, it has the Mr. Fusion, as the car is usually drove with its hovering mechanism that lights up and uses the hover wheels for hovering at a few centimeters from the road and into the air.
• Chung Hee desides that the Nike MAG power-lacing shoes from Back to the Future Part II, which it have power-laces.
• Martin riding the 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 through the streets of South Central hovering, much like the scene in Back to the Future Part II with the 2015 Hill Valley.

• Marcel rides the Old West version of the DeLorean time machine in the Hollywood Freeway.
• Andrew driving the Chevrolet Camaro through the traintracks of Los Angeles with the railroad wheels has an identical to the one seen in Back to the Future III (1990); the DeLorean is current driven by Marty McFly and being pushed to time travel velocity by the steam train and en route back to the present.

Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete Edition

• There are several movie posters throughout the game has a billboard on the top of 110 Freeway which that features a Sci-Fi movie "Back to the Future" (1985).
• The power stations of Los Angeles which have the label "1.21 Gigawatts" which is a clear reference to the amount of electricity needed for the flux capacitor in time travel.
• Pete question whether the guys in LA "got their racers on some DeLoreans".
• The L.A. City Champ, Booke says that Judas in the Time Trial race, "Racing is so fast that Back to the Future is a powerful time travel in the green at the starting line".
• Lester guesses Judas on the T-Mobile Sidekick cellphone, "The racing boys is later to show me you is still hot behind the wheel and including Marty McFly."
• Julian trying to explain to Judas how the whole race in the starting line, if they get to the green, He tells Julian how the situation is changeable, "like in Back to the Future." Julian incredulously asks "The film?"  Judas sarcastically replies "Right, racing cars. and... Of course, the film!"

Judas turn on the engine, turn on the time circuits, typing the buttons on the keypad of the time machine's destination keypad, the letters that reads "South Central 1985" on the display, pull down the gear shift on the Manual transmission, floors the gas pedal and takes off in the streets of Los Angeles. As the time vehicle going up at 88 miles-per-hour, the coils would glow in a fluorescent blue, Internal diodes would flash faster as well as the flux capacitor, A bright blue field of energy would form and the lightning spark at the front of the vehicle. As the DeLorean enters into another time period, it seemed to explode in a large cloud of particles, the camera zooms out, leaving behind two trails of fire where the vehicle's tires will pass arriving the destination time and the car's license plate, spun around and landed on the roadway. When Judas arrives at his destination, the car is covered in ice, just as it was after making its first time travel trip in the first movie.
• Victor responds with "I'm going to the starting line. Are you telling me that your plan to go travel through time in those races? and time travel is so featured in the legendary 'Back to the Future'." Judas exclaims "This must be a lot of races and the time travel adventures featured in Back to the Future is the wicked movie of all time."

The vehicle lifted off the ground and its wheels fold into the hover conversion providing thrust. the car flies away, swings back, goes right toward the camera across the streets of Los Angeles and entered the temporal displacement to South Central.

• Level 8-11 of the game is clearly based on the climax of the first film. The levels shows a mad scientist standing on top of a courthouse during a stormy night, with a long road leading towards the courthouse. A cable is attached from the courthouse to a tree. To complete the level, the player has to create a car that is either high enough on its own, or make it higher by attaching a metal pole to it, and then have Maxwell drive it at full speed against the cable. Upon doing so, a lightning will strike the cable and the starrite appears. The hint for the level is "Timing is Everything! Get a charge at eighty-eight!"
  • Also, the same level has a farm and two pine trees at the start where Maxwell is standing, clearly a reference to the twin pines of Otis Peabody

• In this endless runner game, one of the power-ups is a hoverboard (that features Marty's Hoverboard). In the game, the hoverboard gives the player protection for 30 seconds and must be activated by double tapping on the screen. In the game, there are many different types of boards, some with a special ability, such as the Hot Rod, which has an engine for faster trips (similar to the Pit Bull).

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time

• The Cooper Van, with Bentley's time machine attached, functions similarly to the DeLorean time machine from the Back to the Future film series. As with the DeLorean, the van has to drive at a fast enough speed in order to time travel, although the van also needs an object from the same era the driver intends to travel to. The van also hovers during the time-traveling sequence, as the upgraded DeLorean does at the end of the first film.
• In the prologue, when the gang makes the jump to Feudal Japan, the van leaves a pair of fiery tire tracks and the gang's license plate remains, spinning, just like the DeLorean does during its first time travel.
• In the plans to the time machine, a "Flux Capacitor" can be seen.

• One of medic cosmetic called "Doc's Holiday " is most likely resemblance to Doc Brown red aloha shirt beneath his yellow lab coat from Back to the Future II. Another cosmetic item called "Einstein" is most likely resemblance to Doc Brown's hairstyle.

Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose!

• On the second stage of the climax scene in Back to the Future Part III, Buster Bunny make your way across the runaway train. At the end of the second level, when Buster and Montana Max pump a hand car up to 88 MPH, it speeds away and leaves a fire trail behind. This is a reference to the film Back to the Future.

Zero Time Dilemma

• In the "Ambidex" fragment, Akane directly discusses the events of the first Back to the Future movie with Junpei and Carlos. She uses the movie and it's events to explain to Carlos about how his "SHIFT" works, the in-game ability that allows people to mentally travel across space-time. They (presumably for copyright reasons) refer to Marty as "M", and avoid using the actual name of the movie, or any of the other characters, despite discussing the story of the movie in detail.^[3]
  • Akane, Junpei, and Carlos discuss the time travel mechanics of the movie, including what happened to the "M" from the changed 1985. Akane discusses how, in the event that the movie follows a single timeline theory, then "M-2" was essentially murdered by "M-1" when "M-1" overwrote "M-2's" memories and life with his own. In the event of a timeline based around a multi-world theory however, she theorizes that "M-2" and "M-1" must have essentially swapped places, with "M-2" ending up living in "M-1's" history. Akane tells Carlos that this is akin to how his own ability works.
