Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete Edition, is a variant to the standard Midnight Club: Los Angeles game. Complete Edition features the core game and all of the game's DLC packed together on one disc as well as some changes to the cover art which showcase it as a best seller. Complete Edition was released on October 12, 2009 just about a year after the original game's release. It is available on both Xbox 360 (Platinum Hits) and PlayStation 3 (Greatest Hits).

Contents

The Complete Edition features all of the following DLC:

  • Midnight Club: Los Angeles Core Game
  • South Central Map Expansion
  • South Central Premium Upgrade
  • South Central Vehicle Packs
  • Police Car Pack

Plot

A man from the East Coast moves to Los Angeles. The character, known only as "Player", starts the game with a phone call from the (unknown at the time) Los Angeles City Champ, Booke, telling him to meet at a fast-food restaurant named Carney's Express Limited. He allows the protagonist to pick one of three cars to start the game: a 1998 Nissan 240SX, a 1983 Volkswagen Golf GTI, or a 1988 Volkswagen Scirocco.

Once the player has built up enough of a reputation, they gain the ability to become Champ of the City and of each car type. The first one that is offered is becoming the City Champ. At a point in the game, Karol calls telling the player about Booke being back as a City Champ. Booke then tells the player to race regional opponents to see if they can race against him. After the player beats them, Booke calls saying he is impressed, and to meet him at the Standard Hotel for a race which ends up being the City Champ race vs. Booke and one of the final races on Career mode. When the player wins, the player not only becomes City Champ, but other championship races open. Once the player wins against the lesser opponents, the Champs of all five vehicle classes in the game challenge the player. The characters are Oswaldo, Julian, Lester, Pete, Marcel.

After the player becomes the City Champ, Booke calls and has a proposition. He asks the player to get $1 million dollars to help co-own his two garages with him for his business. In return, he lets the player have anything in the garages for free. This proposition also affects Doc's South Central garage, although the game does not mention it.

Midnight Club: Los Angeles (video game) Exclusive Clips; based on the exclusive clips of the episodes from the Total Drama Series

Hollywood to the Future

(Marcel's Exclusive Clip)

[Static buzzing]

(Hollywood – 2015)

(Three sonic booms are heard and then the Volkswagen Scirocco arrives in the future right in the middle of a skyway.)

Marcel: Okay, I guess i should I have seen that coming. Clearly the Dreaded Count Geoffrey de Bouillon, Oppressor Par Exellence of the Poor and Weak was threatened by my superior mental agility! I'd be flattered I wasn't hurtling towards the earth riding a time machine that built into a DeLorean sports car? Thanks again for that, dude. (sighs) Now that I'm free of that 1.21 gigawatt experiment are made by Back to the Future.

(The Volkswagen Scirocco exits the skyway. A sign in the background says “Phoenix : Boston : London : Hill Valley" and underneath "Local traffic: Hollywood exit next right.” After leaving the skyway it passes a floating sign, “Welcome to Hollywood, Los Angeles. Home of Midnight Club: Los Angeles; The Video Game. Please fly carefully.” The Scirocco descends down into Hollywood.)

(Carl's Exclusive Clip)

[Static buzzing]

[Carl driving the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS SS speeds fast on the road through the streets of Los Angeles; time-travel 3 minutes earlier]

Carl: Another Back to the Future HoverCar? Sweet! Another chance to showcase my mad skills! Hi-yah!

[Carl is about to smack the emergency high speed button in his fists, electrical zap, and power whirring up]

Carl: [laughs] Aw, that is funny. Oh! Aw!

[The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS SS going extremely fast, the guage meters cracked, the top speed is too high, and the fire trails in disappearance.]

Carl: Hey, what in the name of...? (the alarm goes off in the vehicle, the glowing red light on the GPS system, and it reads "WARNING: SOME VEHICLES THAT ACCIDENTALLY HIT IN DANGEROUS VARIOUS OBJECTS AND EVERYTHING!")

[The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS SS broke the sound barrier, the license plate falls off, spins around and drops flat on the roadway]

Carl: Getaway cars are always cool! That's the rule of heist movies! (to the camera) Okay, I gotta go! I've saw the famous Back to the Future trilogy at the theater...

[Carl sees the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS SS speeds and crashes into a building]

Carl: [groaning] Just like that. (collapses)

[static buzzing]

(Karol's Exclusive Clip)

[Static buzzing.]

(Confessional: Karol)

Karol: There's must be a DeLorean from the famous Back to the Future trilogy, It powered by Plutonium in the first film, the second Back to the Future film has Mr. Fusion and the hover-converted wheels, the third movie has the whitewalls or the railroad wheels in the Old West and especially, the hoodbox is part for the time machine. (holding a sketch of a flux capacitor) This component was simply added in Doc Brown's time machine, i call it... the flux capacitor.

(Confessional Off)

Pete: "Uh, Guys. Did that kid from the future come back?"

(Lester, Marcel, Julian, Oswaldo and Pete runs fast on the road)

Judas: "Karol. look! It's Julian."

(Lester, Marcel, Julian, Oswaldo and Pete runs up to Judas)

Julian: Whoa! Dude, This is so cool in that car transformed into a DeLorean time machine as in Back to the Future.

Judas: "Well, I was simply zapped by a lightning strike in my car by accident and transformed into a time machine."

Marcel: "Drats! Everyone, looks like we're gonna ride the coolest time machines to go back in time for a burger-low car in 1985."

Judas: "Right... Over there! It's where all the time travel functions in their so specially equipment cars right here in the Parking Lot at Carney's."

Karol: And the flux capacitor is the main source of time travel in Dr. Emmett Brown's DeLorean.

Judas: What's with the life preserver?

Martin: (wearing Marty McFly's 1985 clothes from Back to the Future) What, I don't get what happened.

Julian: I was simply talking about Marty McFly's hand disappearing in the Enchantment Under The Sea Dance back in the 1950's.

Judas: Great flick, great awesome flick. (looks at his watch; it says, 12:10 A.M.)

(Lester, Marcel, Julian, Oswaldo and Pete runs off to Carney's Express Limited; a fast-food restaurant, cloud smoke on the ground and the road)

Judas: "Karol, Where I'd did put the time period to 1985?" (thinking, bell dings) "This must be it! Okay, I'd better to put the PDA in that object."

(Karol looks at the receptacle in the back of the '87 Buick Grand National GNX)

Karol: Right here, kid. Just put the PDA in the receptacle.

(Judas puts the PDA in the receptacle)

Karol: These time travel equipment are ready to assemble and set up for those cars.

Martin: Movie snacks! (putting the Movie Snacks; Popcorn and Diet Sodas in the Cupholder)

Judas: If the vehicles were ready to go, it wouldn’t be much of a challenge now, would it?

[Static buzzing.]

(Confessional: Lester)

Lester: A small price to pay for the Back to the Future DeLorean. Especially, time travel in the special equipment cars at the starting line of the race, which is tragic, and Movie Snacks are so Delicious.
