Reasons to abandon abstinence-only education

1. It doesn't work.
2. It propagates false information on the unsuspecting.
3. It is a waste of taxpayer dollars.
4. It has little if any public support aside from right-wing ideologues.
5. It violate the separation of church and state.
6. It increases the rate of teen pregnancy.
7. It increases the rate of sexually transmitted disease.
8. It discourages sexually active youth from using protection from sexually transmitted diseases.
