This is a list of Russia's official representatives and their placements at the Big Four international beauty pageants, considered the most important in the world. The country has won two victories:
- One— Miss Universe crown (2002 Dethroned)
- Two— Miss World crowns (1992 • 2008)
On 28 May 2002, Oxana Fedorova was crowned as Miss Universe 2002 and was dethroned on 24 September 2002 (119 days) and first runner-up Justine Pasek of Panama took over the Miss Universe title.
Hundreds of beauty pageants are conducted yearly, but the Big Four are considered the most prestigious,[1] widely covered and broadcast by media.[2] The Wall Street Journal,[3] BBC News,[4] CNN,[5] Xinhua News Agency,[6] and global news agencies such as Reuters[7] and Agence France-Presse[8][9] collectively refer to the four major pageants as "Big Four" namely: Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International and Miss Earth.[10][11][12]
