Plot[]

The plot of the video game is based on the film, albeit liberties are taken occasionally. Lizzie McGuire with her best friends, Miranda Sanchez, David Gordon, Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda and Invader Zim get to HillRidge Junior High, Digital Bean, The Style Shack, Charity Drive, Lizzie's House, Miranda's House, Larry Tudgeman's House, and other locations in Lizzie's world with the Powerpuff Girls (Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup) and Professor Utonium. Features five unlockable bonus levels, mini-games, twenty episodes from the TV Series, Lizzie McGuire, including the Powerpuff Girls, Invader Zim, and The Fairly OddParents and movie clips from the film, Disney's The Lizzie McGuire Movie!

Console versions[]

There are 18 levels in the game that loosely follow the storyline of the film. The player controls Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda, Lizzie McGuire, Miranda Sanchez, David Gordon, Matt McGuire, Jo McGuire, Sam McGuire, Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, Professor Utonium, Invader Zim and GIR, both of whom have their own unique set of abilities. Each level contains a main objective and side tasks. Four levels involve a secret hidden treasure that the player must find to progress to the next level. 13 year old most fashionable junior high school student, Lizzie McGuire with her best friends; David Gordon, Miranda Sanchez, and her cute lovable kid; who have a romantic crush, friendship, relationship and new cousin, a 10-year-old average kid that no one understands; Timmy Turner and his lovable, wish-granting fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda. Zim's servant who is appear in the game, GIR (who is the half-robot, half-doggy companion), with Lizzie's little brother appear in the game, Matt McGuire (who is the little trickster, cheeky, and a young prankster who pranks her sister in Lizzie's House), Lizzie's dorky, but lovable parents; Sam and Jo McGuire (who is the daughter of Lizzie), Professor Utonium (The Powerpuff Girls' creator and father), Blossom (commander and the leader), Bubbles (the joy and the laughter) and Buttercup (the toughest fighter). Each main level and side task will give the player The Gordo Files Token once completed, and the player needs these tokens to learn certain skills and proceed to the game. Although the player only needs to complete a level's main component in order to unlock the next level, it is not possible to complete the game only doing the main levels (though the player does not need to do all of the side tasks).

There is also an upgrade system in the game. As the player collects "Fashion Show, Chemical X and Magical Powers" (represented by glowing weights), they will learn new moves for Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda, Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup and Lizzie McGuire which are needed to complete the game. Once the player collects enough magical points, they get an "Upgrade Point" which can improve a skill's effect (or be used to increase the player's Max Health from three to up to six units). Although very helpful in progressing and completing the game, upgrades are not mandatory to doing so.

Background music is same music use in Star Wars, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Kim Possible, Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, The Powerpuff Girls Movie, Monsters, Inc., Lilo & Stitch, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Spy Kids, Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams, Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, S Club 7, but as game was released for the soundtrack for that movie levels.

All versions of the game feature FMV cutscenes from the movie and the GBA version. The GBA instead uses the still frames from the movie along with remixes of the songs "The Fairly OddParents! Theme Song", "We'll Figure it Out (Lizzie McGuire Theme Song)", "Invader Zim Main Title", "Spy Kids (Save the World)", "The Powerpuff Girls (Main Title)" and the songs from "The Lizzie McGuire Movie".

  • Platforming - Ultimately, the main levels of the game, the player must use Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda and/or Lizzie, Miranda and Gordo to proceed through the levels. Several skills such as combat, careful movement, and most notably, the use of Timmy/Lizzie's move-sets are needed to progress. Each level has side tasks which offer the Gordo Files Token, including;
    • Sonic Wave Guitar - Ethan Craft has to use his Air Guitar (his fifth and last move) to guide Timmy and Lizzie the wave throughout rings without missing one.
    • Movie Making Challenge - Gordo must jump from block-to-block to reach the Gordo Files Token before time runs out. Each block has different attributes.
    • Combat Arena Challenges - Cosmo and Wanda, with only a few health units throughout the level, must defeat waves a pink and green lightsabers (magic wands) of enemies.
    • Pod-racing in HillRidge - Matt was riding the Pod racer through an area, during the Pod Race scene in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
  • Driving - Using a Star Wars Flash Speeder, sometimes the player will need to drive through an area and blasts lasers at Battle Droids. All of the driving levels have three identical side tasks: a time challenge, a ring challenge, and a "Macho" (or harder) time challenge.
  • Sliding - Using a floating hoverboard (or a sled and his pink wicked sleigh) which acts almost like a sled with its movement, the player must slide through the area. The side tasks are the same as in the driving sequences.
  • Bonus Games - There are a total of ten bonus levels in the game, none of which contain side tasks.

Each completion of a challenge or its side task grants the player the Gordo Files Token and the Crimson Chin cards. In order to learn the moves required to advance in levels and the stories, Lizzie, Timmy (with Cosmo and Wanda), Miranda, Gordo, Matt, Jo, Sam, Zim, GIR, Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup and Professor Utonium will have to complete these side missions (like the extra driving and minigame challenges) to get these tokens. Timmy and Lizzie have a few moves, and when they get a sufficient number of points, they can upgrade a move or increase their max health. Their health units are measured in Lizzie's makeup and her outfits; they each contain only three, but can be upgraded up to six over time. The moves will improve in effectiveness when upgraded.

If it was just you and me, I wouldn't care how I looked. But I do have to live in this world." this line was from the episode "Picture Day".
  • In Lizzie's house, the player will see the same pictures of Timmy Turner, Cosmo, Wanda, Lizzie McGuire and The Powerpuff Girls.

* We've got a picture-perfect plan *

* We'll figure it out on the way. *

Lizzie McGuire: (to Timmy, put on her bubble backpack) I oversleep, I lose my keys, I trip in the cafeteria, Timmy falls in my embarrassing moments, Paolo is isn't quite a great gorgeous Italian Rockstar?

Timmy Turner: Oh! After they saw that Paolo and Isabella's Dancers in Rome with Paolo's Bodyguard?

Bubbles: Don't just stand there! START CRIMEFIGHTING!!

Buttercup: Bubbles has gone cuckoo.

Blossom: She's right, though. Spread out and search for clues!

Timmy Turner: Uh, guys, remember the time my evil babysitter Vicky is together with that loser Paolo in Rome?

Wanda: He thinks they're actual bad guys!

Cosmo: And with his powers, he's gonna rip through them like tissue!

Buttercup: The gorgeous Italian Rockstar is evil and he looks like Mojo Jojo! I could give Paolo some knuckle sandwiches for all of the hungry inmates.

Timmy Turner: (to Zim) But Zim might be an Invader, and he's the unstoppable team for the Irken Disguise.

Sam McGuire: When I took that test, it showed I have untapped mechanical ability.

Jo McGuire: Yeah? So explain to me how come the new microwave cart is not assembled yet.

Sam McGuire: Rome wasn't built in a day. And I'm sure that Rome came with all the pieces.

(Timmy puts a lightsaber in his pocket)

Zim: To cripple the humans by destroying- (to Timmy) Except for you, One of a kind average kid that no one understands.

(Invader Zim put on his contact lenses and a wig in his irken hands)

Zim: You dare agree with me!?! Prepare to meet your horrible doom!

Jorgen Von Strangle: Silence! Any plea other than 'Guilty' will be met by loud shouting and a terrifying display of my muscle tone!

Zim: But you can see me?

(Jorgen wearing his suit in black)

Timmy Turner: I’m doing a report on the Powerpuff Girls, and I was wondering— (looks at the camera) —what exactly are those little girls made of?

Professor Utonium: Aha—oh, well, the Powerpuff Girls. Well, let’s see now. Eight cups of sugar, a pinch of spice— (Mojo pulls out a pad and pen and takes notes.) —one tablespoon of everything nice, and—now, this one’s important. Accidentally add a drop of Chemical X. And voila!

Timmy: [to Cosmo and Wanda] Hey, about today? It seemed like I got on your nerves with all my wishing.

Wanda: Well, it was the selfish, thoughtless, rude, abrasive way you wished that annoyed us, sweetie.

Timmy: Yeah, I thought so.

Zim: Computer, give me all the information you have on the Star Wars movies.

Computer: The Star Wars movies is a one-of-a-kind science fiction movie trilogy.

Zim: Continue.

Computer: There's "Star Wars", "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi".

(Lizzie opens the front door of Lizzie's House with Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, Blossom, Professor, Buttercup, Bubbles and Zim, walking in the front doorstep and the sidewalk)

Girls: Yaaaay! (They join him in midair.)

Professor: Now, girls, let’s go get him!

Zim: Yes, yes, that's fascinating.

Lizzie McGuire: This is impossible, I could never sing in front of an audience. I don't even let my mom hear me in the shower.

Cosmo: Nope, that pretty much hits the nail on the head!

Wanda: Sounds like a plan!

Zim: I think you've said enough! Ha ha ha ha ha!

GIR: By pressing the Self Destruct button?

Timmy Turner: Not without that attitude! Come on, guys - we can do this!

Blossom: Yeah. Sure. Okay.

Bubbles: Sounds fun!

Buttercup: Oh, brother.

Bubbles: (carrying Octi) Octi?

Timmy: He seems kinda brainless.

Cosmo: Mindless!

Timmy: Mindless.

Wanda: We have to give him a bad idea quick, there's only a few hours left.

Bubbles: (looking around) Huh? Who said that?

(three sonic booms are heard)

Wanda: That's him?

Cosmo: What's the big deal? He's just a smelly old goat.

(The DeLorean from Back to the Future speeds fast on the road)

Buttercup: Buzz off! You were under the speed limit for the Powerpuff Girls.

Lizzie McGuire: Sometimes it might seem that way.

Invader Zim: Erm... Pretty much everything! But don't worry - we can help teach you the basics!

Timmy: I mean I read the list.

(Lizzie laughs)

Timmy Turner: What do I have to do?

Toon Lizzie: You can use the left analog stick to move around, and the right analog stick to look around. Just remember, if you get stuck, or you're not certain, or you see something interesting, talk to me, Gordo and Miranda and we'll be there at school with some advice.

Timmy Turner: I know what happened! Get on with it!

Lizzie McGuire: But if I don't like it, why waste my time, doing it? I'd rather work extra hard at something I do love, even if it takes a little longer.

Blossom: Everybody ready?

Buttercup: Ready!

Bubbles: Ooh! It’s…

Blossom: Not finished.

Toon Lizzie: ...you can adjust your view! Use the Jump button to climb to the top of the steps, Timmy.

Lizzie: Gordo, quit nagging me!

Gordo: Nagging you? I wouldn't have to nag you if you paid attention to me!

Wanda: Aww! Goat love!

Cosmo: They say it's the most honest love there is!

Zim: Rats! That's the third evil robot that has been defeated. Even more, they are starting to catch on to me!

Timmy Turner: I can't jump high enough!

Wanda: You can jump twice to do a double jump, pumpkin.

Toon Lizzie: Press this button for a double jump.

Timmy Turner: Can I use the running move?

Toon Lizzie: You have to get across and press that big red button.

(Timmy and Lizzie runs with Zim, Miranda and Gordo, while the girls in flight.)

Lizzie McGuire: Gordo, shouldn’t you be listening to Britney Spears?

Gordo: (in a “you-have-got-to-be-kidding-me” tone) Why?

Miranda Sanchez: Because that’s what normal people listen to.

Lizzie McGuire: We don’t want people thinking that you're weird.

Timmy Turner: I think I'll follow my instincts on this one.

Timmy: (to Lizzie) Lizzie, this coolest high-tech spy gadget thingy has everything. Three-way calling, voice dialing, downloadable ring tones.

Miranda: [Interrupting Lizzie] You're not actually gonna use Ethan and Larry in the same sentence?

Gordo: You just did.

Bubbles: Yeah, it was fun. We met lots of kids.

Blossom: And we learned things.

Miranda Sanchez: Why didn't you just say that?

Buttercup: And we played tag!

Timmy: Superconducting electromagnet, GPS with mapping software, tip calculator, Gameboy, high-powered laser, polycarbonate rappeling line, with jet-propelled micro-grappling hook, nose-hair trimmer and MP3 player.

Lizzie McGuire: I can't believe you spent all afternoon with Matt and my dad. (shows Timmy a high-tech spy cellphone) And if Kate finds out that you've found this thousand-pound note spy gadget?

Timmy Turner: Cool, I can look for clues with this coolest spy gadget device! That looks handy.

Cosmo: Well, I thought it handled great!

Dib: Wait, is there really a difference?

Timmy: Ooh, this is like a spy movie! Do we have any secret agents?

Lizzie McGuire: Kate, you're great at everything.

Timmy Turner: Why can't you let someone be better than you at one thing?

Kate Sanders: Cause I'm not about to sit back and let the dorks take over.

[Timmy pulls out and then activates his lightsaber]

SFX: SKYWALKER LIGHTSABER SOUND

Timmy Turner: Uh... guys?

Cosmo: Should we do something?

Wanda: Well, he's got to wish for it first!

Cosmo: Ooh, I hate that rule.

SFX: SKYWALKER WINDOW CRASH 01

Ren Stevens: When I went through it, I thought the whole thing was disgusting and juvenile.

Louis Stevens: [relieved] Right. Right.

Ren Stevens: But now that you're going through it, I just think it's a wonderful school tradition.

Tawny Dean: Do you guys think this Scrub Day thing is for real?

Alan Twitty: I don't know, dude, but it's kinda starting to freak me out.

Louis Stevens: What? It's nothing! It's just the eight graders trying to scare us. They're not really gonna do anything. Why are you being such babies?

Timmy Turner: Dogs have great sense of smell, they can see in black and white, and they can go to the bathroom any where they want.

Louis Stevens: No. And is it fair that Pluto has to sleep in a dog house and wear a leash, while Goofy, who is also a dog, gets to drive around in a car and play golf with Mickey?

Bubbles: I don’t know. (Pull back.)

Buttercup: You’re not afraid of the dark, are you?

Bubbles: No.

Buttercup: You ain’t scared of monsters under the bed, are you?

Cosmo: So can I, I'm just polite.

Tawny Dean: What?

Louis Stevens: [quietly] Sorry, it's just always bothered me.

Cosmo: Marching is fun!

Timmy: They sure enjoy it.

Wanda: And band music!

Lizzie: Please tell me you and Kate made up.

Timmy: Whoa! This place is really old.

Wanda: Not as old as Cosmo.

Cosmo: HEY!!!

Kate: (screams) Sanchez!
