Universe 5 (第5宇宙 'Dai go Uchū'), the Balanced Universe (バランスの宇宙 'Baransu no Uchū'), is the fifth of the twelve universes in the Dragon Ball series. It includes planets, stars, and a large amount of galaxies. Universe 5 is linked with Universe 8, creating a twin universe. Universe 5 is one of the four universes that have an average mortal level above 7 on Zeno's scale. Thus its inhabitants, both mortal and divine, are exempt from being erased, along with the inhabitants of Universes 1, 8, and 12. It is the universe with the third highest mortal level.
The God of Destruction of Universe 5 is Arack, the Supreme Kai is Ogma, and the Angel is Cukatail.
